Well, I really don’t know what to think or say at this point with Machinima still stalling on granting director Joey Ansah’s hit miniseries, Street Fighter: Resurrection. The four-part endeavor premiered back in March and solely to North American audience as per the availability of mobile users downloading the go90 app and was a jewel of a showcase for fans still clamoring for more after Ansah shut 2014 down with the hit feature film/online series installation, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.
I’ve tried finding out more about Resurrection and it’s safe to say I know about as much as the average person reading this article. I do know one thing, however, and it is that the wide release of this series to ever-patient audiences outside of the U.S. market is in Machinima’s hands. I’ve reached out to them twice about it and have heard nothing from them to no avail (I might as well have been trying to contact Tom from MySpace for assistance).
That said, with all the support and love that Ansah has received from fans of Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist who have kept in tune with every aspect of the series and the hard work and effort it took to help make it all happen, I am keen on using this article as a means to inspire the masses to conctact Machinima directly and, much to the appeal of the above headline, demand the wide release of Street Fighter: Resurrection, if not answers on why they refuse to grant audiences across the world a fair chance to watch.
Mike Moh and Christian Howard return for this series along with a plethora of talent including one of the best shows of performance from actor and martial artist Alain Moussi of Kickboxer fame and actresses Natascha Hopkins, Doctor Strange‘s Katrina Durden and The Gate‘s Amy Johnston, in addition to a stunning cameo at the end that will leave you loving what Ansah has done even more. With any luck we’ll learn more about the upcoming Street Fighter: World Warrior series before long, though this really is a team effort on behalf of the fans at this point, and I welcome anyone and everyone to share this article and get results.
