It seems the production of the all-female underground martial arts action thriller, Lady Bloodsport, has undergone some changes in the past year since training began for the actresses slated to appear in it at the time. This week, the word now from the official Facebook page for Bey Logan’s production banner, B&E Productions states the film’s latest rebranding as Lady Bloodfight. Just after showcasing his most recent action directorial feats with Jonny Caines in The Monkey Vault, independent filmmaker Leo Kei Angelos is back once more with the release of his newest short gem in the form of Rifle Fight Practice. THE TRANSPORTER TV Series Delivers This Fall In North America

With a new film trilogy on the way, new reports are saying that Turner Broadcasting Company’s TNT has picked up both the first and second season of Atlantique Productions and QVC Inc.’s televised action series The Transporter. The first season of the series was announced in 2011 and filmed later in the year, prior to its select-airing the last two years in Germany, France and Canada with Cinemax ultimately backing out of the show’s North American distribution. Jonny Caines Dominates THE MONKEY VAULT!

Action fans can look forward to what Canadian stunt performer and Team 2X member Jonny Caines has in store for his upcoming reel, in addition to his expected appearance in the crowdfunded action comedy shortfilm, Fist Plus Face, among other things. To add to his visual resumè this week however, folks can now check him out in high-flying fashion in his latest group fight practice performance from independent filmmaker Leo Kei Angelos. The video was filmed at a parkour training facility in Toronto, The Monkey Vault (hence the title) where Caines takes the liberty of showcasing one of several interesting ways one could feature action choreography in a gym designed specifically for dynamic stunt performance, aided by great camerawork from Angelos who is currently in Canada planning some other things as well to kick off the new year. Lots Of New Footage In The Final Trailer For THE MONKEY KING 3D!

The final trailer for Pou-Soi Cheang‘s new film, The Monkey King 3D has arrived as we approach the final week nearing the film’s theatrical release in Hong Kong and China on January 30 and 31, respectively. No English subtitles here, but the trailer flexes a LOT more muscle in its dialogue than in previous trailers and TV spots.
