THE HIT LIST – September 28, 2015
The show is laden with all the necessary parts to make Black an authentic and rich military action and espionage drama with all of the trimmings, including a cast of which many are still either serving or retired. John T. Woods and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa also star for the show’s limited progressive online roll out, so if you wish to see the episodes, now would be a good time. And feel free to subscribe to the accompanying Facebook page as well.

No Guns Needed In The Latest Episode Of THE FIGHTING JOURNEY From Lunar Stunts
Longtime indie action fans may be familiar with veteran filmmaker and Jabronie Pictures founder Fernando Jay Huerto, whose earlier projects within the past decade included two independently made shortfilms, Gunpoint and Gunpoint 2. Well, Huerto has now returned to carry on his memorable character in a short spin-off performance in fellow indie director and Lunar Stunts founder Eric Nguyen‘s sixth installment of his longstanding action miniseries, The Fighting Journey – a filmmaking experiment with various performers from around the country.
Huerto performs opposite fellow performer, actor Irvin Nguyen.
As a noteworthy mention, my own previous conversations with Huerto have led to possibile mentions of a Gunpoint revival in some capacity. Of course, as with the nature of independent filmmaking, time will tell. Other than that, head over to the official Facebook pagefor Jabronie Pictures to keep posted on what’s what. Lunar Stunts Presents: FAIR GAME
I’ve mused in the past about the ever-evolving state of independent online action cinema, with the level of stunt work and achievements I have seen on behalf of aspiring creators and stunt professionals who want to showcase a balanced blend of acting and genuine action performance. I especially attribute this to independent filmmaker Eric Nguyen and the gang over at Lunar Stunts Action Company who added their latest action short to their repertoire about a week ago titled Fair Game.
It’s one of those projects that can’t come out fast enough, having shared a clip late last year ahead of what should have been a holiday release. But, as always, things take time, effort, and patience. And six months into the year, it all finally pays off, showcasing eight minutes of fast-paced storytelling and great fight choreography by Nguyen, lead actor and co-choreographer Jeffery Griffith, and actor and performer Mickey Arce.
Check it out below, subscribe to the channel and feel free to browse through all their online goodies with more to come in the months ahead!
Eric And Irvin Nguyen Take Viewers On THE FIGHTING JOURNEY
Independent filmmaking and Lunar Stunts action duo Eric Nguyen and brother Irvin Nguyen have introduced a new martial arts miniseries called The Fighting Journey. Their first clip shows the two featuring some more of their experimental choreography, as part of a project that will help expand their screenfighting with other performers.
